Actions & Signals
Open rows for drivers, on a schedule, or from scripts, and set up traffic lights.
#Actions
An action moves chosen bollards when something happens. With no bollards chosen it moves the whole row. A group holds up to maxActionsPerGroup actions, set under the Actions tab.
| Trigger | Runs When |
|---|---|
| Driver approach | A driver with a listed job drives up to the row. |
| Terminal button | A player presses its button on one of the group's terminals. |
| Schedule | A daily time is reached, in server time. |
| Other scripts | Another resource calls it by name. |
Terminal, schedule, and script actions lower, raise, or toggle their bollards. Set back after returns them after up to 600 seconds; 0 keeps them.
#Driver Approach
The chosen bollards lower as the car drives up and rise again once it has passed and the hold time has run out.
- At least one job is required.
- Emergency vehicles only limits it to emergency-class vehicles.
- The trigger distance is 5 to 40 metres, and the hold time 2 to 30 seconds.
- Entering and Exiting limit it to one direction. Mark the inside of the row first; until then, cars from both sides trigger it.
The action only runs when the car is aimed at one of its bollards. Leave a bollard out between two lanes to keep it up as a divider.
#Terminal Button
Shows as a button on the chosen terminal's screen. Jobs and items can be added on top of the terminal's own access; a listed job or item is enough.
A terminal with buttons shows only those. Add a Full control button to keep the full panel.
#Schedule
Runs once a day at the set time. Use two actions to open in the morning and close at night.
#Other Scripts
Give the action a name and run it with the RunAction or RunGroupAction export. See Exports & Events.
#Signals
Signals are standalone traffic lights placed beside the row. A group holds up to maxSignalsPerGroup signals. Terminals with a light use the same rules.
| Green When | Description |
|---|---|
| Whole selection lowered | Every chosen bollard is fully lowered. |
| Any lowered | At least one chosen bollard is fully lowered. |
| At least N lowered | The set number of chosen bollards are fully lowered. |
| Always | Ignores the bollards. |
With no bollards chosen, a light watches the whole row. AI cars held by a red light wait for green instead of turning around.
#Alternating Cycle
Lights with a phase take turns. Each phase is green for the green time, then every phased light is red for the clearance time before the next phase starts.
Set two signals on opposite sides to phase A and phase B to let traffic take turns through a single open lane. A phased light is still only green while its own condition is met. Lights without a phase ignore the cycle.
The defaults come from Config.Settings.defaults.cycle.
