Resource Description
How rope towing, winching, and vehicle beds work.
#Ropes & Steel Cables
Equip a rope or cable on foot, select a front or rear bumper, and attach the other end to a second vehicle. Front and rear ends can be combined in either direction. Connections support multi-vehicle chains; occupied vehicles retain their own driver control, while empty loads receive steering assistance.
The basic rope uses a fixed length, with configurable distance, speed, and driven-vehicle break conditions. Steel cables start at the attachment distance and support winching within configured limits. Both use vehicle physics.
#Winching
Hold Page Down to reel in or Page Up to pay out from the controlling driver's seat. Release the key to stop. The in-world meter shows cable length, with player preferences for size and visibility.
#Vehicle Beds
Supported carriers provide numbered loading slots, a blue loading area, and destination previews. Players can load, unload, or move a vehicle between slots. The defaults include flatbed (one slot), trflat (two), and tr2 (six across two decks).
Bed access can require carrier keys, a configured job, or neither. Model dimensions, deck clearance, floor offsets, rotations, loading areas, and trunk requirements are configurable.
#Inventory & Access
Each material has its own item. With the default item requirement, one item is consumed after attachment succeeds and returned to the player who manually detaches the connection. Broken connections do not refund the item. Itemless and server-created connections do not create refund items.
Commands, target interactions, usable items, and exports provide entry points. Editable client and server can-check hooks allow custom restrictions.
