Fence & Contracts
Sell converters, work contracts, and build reputation.
Aim at the fence and press E to open his menu. The fence can be limited to real-life opening hours with hours on his position.
#Selling Converters
Sell one converter or everything you carry. Payout uses the size price, the vehicle value, the grade, and condition. Every converter sold lowers what he pays for the next, until demand recovers. Each outright sale also earns a little reputation.
Contracts pay their full offer and do not affect demand, so they are the better money.
#Tools & Batteries
The fence sells the jack, the grinder and its parts, and replacement converters. He buys back broken discs per piece and used discs by durability, and charges grinder batteries for a flat fee.
#Contracts
Ask the fence for work to see his board. Take a job and hand the converter in from Current Jobs before time runs out.
| Type | Asks For |
|---|---|
spec | Any converter of the listed size. |
model | A converter cut from a specific model. |
target | The converter from a locked vehicle spawned inside a marked search area. |
Each job names a condition standard and may set the worst accepted grade. A better converter than asked for earns extra payout and reputation. A worn or wrong converter pays less and can cost reputation. Jobs that expire or are dropped lose part of their reputation.
The on-screen tracker lists running jobs with their steps and time left. Toggle it in Personal Settings or with its keybind.
#Reputation
| Level | Reputation | Offers | Active | Daily |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stranger | 0 | 1 | 1 | 2 |
| Runner | 100 | 2 | 1 | 3 |
| Regular | 250 | 3 | 2 | 4 |
| Trusted | 500 | 4 | 2 | 6 |
| Partner | 1000 | 4 | 3 | 8 |
Higher levels unlock more board offers, concurrent jobs, daily jobs, and better pool entries. Each taken job counts toward the daily limit for limitHours. Staying away for longer than idle.graceHours slowly costs reputation.
