Resource Description

How converter theft, the fence, and contracts work.

#Jacking & Theft

The reusable bottle jack is aimed at a parked car's jacking point with a placement preview, then pumped up stroke by stroke. Cars high enough off the ground can be reached without a jack. Anyone nearby can join the under-car scene on a jacked car.

The cut is a 3D minigame where the player steers the grinder onto the joint. Clean cuts are fast; sloppy ones wear the disc and damage the converter. An alternative ring-based pipe cut minigame is also available.

#Converters & Grades

Converters come in three sizes by vehicle class. High-end cars and hybrids are worth more, and electric vehicles have nothing to cut. Ten rust grades each have their own look, icon, and payout.

Stolen converters keep the vehicle, plate, grade, and condition they came from. Condition follows the vehicle's engine health and the quality of the cut.

#Anti-Theft Guards

Some cars carry a cable lock, a welded cage, or a shield plate. Each must be cut through before the converter. More valuable converters are guarded more often.

#Running Without a Converter

Cars without a converter run rough for everyone nearby: a loud exhaust, pops, backfire flames, misfires, smoke, less power, and a check-engine warning. The missing converter is kept by plate through garages and restarts until a replacement is installed from the item or the vehicle target.

#Fence & Contracts

The fence buys converters from a shared demand that drops with every sale and recovers over time. He also sells the tools for the job, buys back worn discs, and charges grinder batteries. Fence peds can be limited to real-life opening hours.

Contracts ask for a converter size, a specific model, or a marked target vehicle, and are rated on how well each hand-in matches. Reputation unlocks more board slots, concurrent jobs, and better contracts.

#Alerts, Admin & Logging

Car alarms and NPC witnesses call a single hook for your dispatch resource. The admin panel manages fence demand, player reputation, and missing converters. Theft, sales, installs, and contracts are server-authoritative, with server events, Discord webhook logging, and editable can-check hooks.
